News: 9/10/2006: Rush Schedule updated! Rush Theta Delta Chi!
Rush
Men at the University of Wisconsin can join Theta Delta Chi during fall and spring rush each year. Rush is a time when all of the fraternities open up to prospective members, usually incoming freshmen and sophomores, to encourage them to get to know and make friends with the brothers, and to find a house that is the "right fit" for each individual. Rush is a really fun time for both brothers and rushees and is also a good time to get a feel for what Fraternities at the University of Wisconsin are all about.
During rush, TDX gives out bids (invitations to join the brotherhood) to prospective brothers. Those who accept begin a period of pledging that involves education in the history and traditions of Theta Delta Chi, community service and service to the UW community. Through these activities, pledges will learn exactly what it means to become a brother with current brothers, alumni and fellow pledge class members. Pledging does not involve hazing. We currently initiate members after 2 weeks of pledging that does not include any hazing.
If you are interested in joining TDX, send us an e-mail at leightner@wisc.edu or come to one of our events listed on the calendar. Put all your expectations aside, come out to make new friends and have a great time!

Housing projects happen year round including the installation of a new high efficiency heating system over the past year. Living at TDX is an experience never to be forgotten especially when everlasting friendships are made.
Over the course of the next 5 years, alumni of Theta Delta Chi will work towards significant improvements to the property including new bathrooms, a new kitchen and improved living areas. There is currently no meal plan at Theta Delta Chi but we currently plan to hire a chef within the next year.
Membership Fees
After pledging each initiate will be required to pay a one time $450 initiation fee. Each subsequent semester in which the member lives out of the house will cost $375 in membership dues. While living in the house, there are no membership fees.
